MARY FOX LINTON

Mary Fox Linton founded a design practice under her own name in late 1950’s. Her reputation quickly grew.

In the early seventies she formed an association with David Hicks becoming David Hicks Mary Fox Linton Associates. When this relationship ended, later in the same decade, she reverted to working under her name alone. By this time her client base included many prestigious private clients.

Over recent decades Fox Linton Associates merged into Studio Fox Linton and has become equally renowned for working on some of the world’s most iconic hotels and spas, including One Aldwych in London, Carlisle Bay Antigua and The Grove Hertfordshire to name but a few.

Mary has received many awards including the House and Garden Pineapple Award for Hotel Design, the Lifetime Achievement Award from Architectural Design, the BCFA Panaz Lifetime Achievement Award, The Royal Oak Foundations’ Timeless Design Award, the BIID Merit Award and the Homes and Garden Lifetime Achievement Award.

After more than 70 years in the industry, Mary continues to act as a consultant to Studio Fox Linton.

Mary’s design ethos favours timeless style and elegance over fleeting trends.
